Dear School Administrator:
On behalf of the
Northeast Ohio Teacher Education consortium, we invite
you to participate in the annual Northeast Ohio Teacher Education Day (NOTED) on Thursday, March 29, 2012. You will have the opportunity to meet over
800 teacher candidates representing many licensure and certification areas from
twelve accredited colleges and universities in one convenient setting! The event will begin with an open job fair
format allowing you to pre-screen candidates
in the morning and interview selected candidates in the afternoon.
· NOTED
will be held at the John S. Knight Center, conveniently accessible to several
airports and quality hotels in downtown Akron, Ohio.
· Complete
and return the registration form and $200 fee (pay reduced fee of $180 if payment is post-marked or time-stamped by
December 31, 2011).
· Your
registration includes one eight-foot table, two chairs, continental breakfast,
and lunch (no electrical source will be available at your table).
We will forward an email confirmation upon receipt of your registration
with parking instructions and directions.
· We
have secured a limited number of hotel
rooms at the Ramada Plaza Hotel at a
rate of $ 75 per night plus tax for March 28 and 29. To reserve a room, call 330-384-1500 and
request the special NOTED room rate no later than March 19. For information
