2008 NOTED Participating School Systems
Northeast Ohio Teacher Education Day (NOTED)
    April 3, 2008 from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. 
   Student Registration begins at 7:30 a.m.
   I-X Center - One I-X Center Drive - Cleveland, Ohio 44135

Employer Registration

NOTED connects teacher candidates with school systems nationwide.

  • Students and alumni from participating consortium schools are welcome to attend.

  • Attendees must prove their affiliation with a member institution to gain access to the event.

  • This event is closed to all others.
Candidate Day at NOTED
7:30 a.m. Doors open.
7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Candidates will be directed to waiting rooms where they will complete registration cards. Participating school district information and a floor plan will also be distributed.
8:30 a.m.  to 10:30 a.m. Open Networking. This is the only open period where students may network with school district representatives. Please be advised that there are often long waiting lines to meet with representatives from Northeast Ohio districts. During the open networking, some students may be invited to an afternoon interview(s).
11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Lunch / Optional interviewing time
11:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Interviews by school district invitation only, scheduled at 20 minute intervals.

In April 2007, we hosted over 100 employers and over 800 teacher candidates! 

Founded in 1999, the eleven member schools that comprise our consortium include:

Baldwin-Wallace College Notre Dame College

Hiram College Walsh University
Lake Erie College Youngstown State University
Malone College
